WoW = acronym for World of Warcraft. A MMORPG that I play. Oh right, MMORPG = Massive Multi-player Online Role-Playing Game. Get with the geek lingo, will you? ;-)
So anyhow, I started playing WoW again within the past couple of weeks. I play it in the evenings once the kiddos are down for the day... and I often tinker around with it during the day when I am at work and in between calls.
If you've never played it before... try it! They have a free 10-day trial version so you can try before you buy - not like other games where you have to download the entire game and start your membership without giving it a go-round first.
WoW is also a lot easier on computers. I used to play EQ (EverQuest) years back, but always lagged each time they brought out a new expansion or anytime I zoned (moving into a different area). But with WoW, there is seamless zoning and I notice I only lag in really crowded areas. Plus the graphics and animations are so much better than anything I've played before.
Along with enjoying the game itself, I love the little videos folks make using actual clips from the game. I also love the WoW commercials that Blizzard (the happy parent) made to promote the videos. See for yourself... my fave is the William Shatner one. =)
